A hidden gem located on a quiet dead-end street, the space is filled with light & art —a wonderful retreat! This Bay view studio is centrally located, with easy access to highways, to SF (via the ferry if you like), to Berkeley, Oakland, Marin, the wine country & to the coast. The studio is walking distance to charming restaurants, bars, shopping, and great hiking trails. The space This renovated, spacious studio is located on the ground floor of a mid-century home at the end of a dead-end street. It has a separate entrance and it's own large private deck. Main Room: Features a Queen-sized Nest mattress, a vintage two-seater sofa, a large tufted velvet coffee/footrest, side tables, and a medium-sized round kitchen table/desk with comfortable vintage office chairs. Private Deck: Enter the studio from a large private deck with modern chairs, a large table. The deck offers beautiful bay views and a cool, relaxing space. Storage: Three stairs lead to a landing with storage shelves, bins for clothing, and hooks (no closet). There is also an additional storage bin under the bed Mini Kitchen: Another step up brings you to a mini kitchen equipped with a good-sized mini-fridge, with small freezer compartment, a toaster/convection oven, microwave, pour-over coffee maker (with local coffee provided), electric tea kettle, and various kitchen essentials including silverware, knives, a wine key, can opener, colander, grater, hand juicer, bowls, Tupperware, and cleaning supplies. Bathroom: A spacious bathroom features a vanity with a deep sink, a new toilet, and a walk-in shower. Amenities include floor mats, towels, hand towels, washcloths, 3-in-1 soap, shampoo, conditioner, cotton balls, and toilet paper. A steamer and hairdryer are also provided. Additional Information: Please note there is no TV. There is a laundromat in town. We strive to be environmentally conscious, minimizing waste and using towels as long as possible. Guest access The neighborhood is very, quiet, safe, and serene. We share this amazing place with wild turkeys, skunks, deer, and a host of amazing birds, for all of you bird watchers. You can hear sea lions barking in the bay as well. We are home to some of the best views of the Bay, San Francisco, and Marin. The town is a short walk away with access to food, theatre, and public transportation (A bus stop that takes you to the Bart station amongst other places). The Richmond ferry is a 10 min drive. Other things to note Please note that the space above may have occupants during your stay, and you might hear muffled sounds, footsteps on the deck, music or the TV. The guests upstairs will be asked to be mindful of your privacy and maintain a respectful volume. Quiet hours are in place from 10 PM to 7 AM to ensure a peaceful environment.
