Historic Château des Marquis de Guer, the Ville-Huë has been in the same family for over 700 years. It is surrounded by a park open to guests and designed in the 19th century by a famous landscape architect, where perspectives, viewpoints, ponds, streams, and bridle paths mingle. The space Grandmother Charlotte's Room is located in the Château de La Ville-Huë. It is the room of the masters of the house, the Marquis and the Marquise de Guer, great-grandparents of the current owners. It has a large Louis XIII canopy bed in turned wood draped in silk (new bedding), a desk table with curiously carved feet as well as its armchair with lions' heads, a dresser with a cherry tray and a Louis XIII wardrobe. In the adjoining tower, the bathroom with toilet, has an enamelled cast iron bathtub, two oak column washbasins, a navy dresser, a towel dryer and the VMC. From the bedroom, through two 18th century windows facing each other, the view of the park is splendid. Second bedroom located in the 14th part of the castle, the Chambre des Demoiselles. It has a double bed of 160x210, a desk, a dresser, a wardrobe with mirror, a bathroom with toilet. It is beautifully decorated with toile de Jouy. 18th century living room, 50 ha landscaped park with stream, ponds, forest paths...
