Tudor Romance - Historic Getaway

Our beautiful Tudor Manor House is totally unique and sits amongst an ancient Historic site hailing from medieval times made up of two Manor houses dating with various barns and outbuildings. The properties have been extensively renovated over many years and are grade 2* listed - which means they are classified as 'national treasures' by English Heritage. The space This beautiful ancient Site is steeped in History, but also warm and welcoming having been recently lovingly renovated. So now all the comforts and luxuries of the 20th century are present while retaining the authenticity of its Medieval and Tudor origins and character. The buildings sit within lovely private large walled gardens with nearby stables, and plenty of parking. Furnished with eccentric arty and comfortable style and situated in a quiet conservation area, next to a 12th century church, its peaceful and charming. Being perfectly placed just off the M5 its great for accessing all the cultural delights of nearby Bristol and Somerset. Portishead itself has a thriving high street just a 3 minute walk away, as well as beautiful lake grounds, nearby coastal walks and is famed for its glorious setting suns and having the closest shipping lane to land in the whole of the UK! ( as well as the second fastest/highest tide in the world) - so a 'must' for nautical lovers! Best pub, the Black Horse, just a few minutes drive ( as is Waitrose and several other supermarkets!), and for serious consumers, the major shopping centre of Cribbs Causeway lies within easy reach. There are many wonderful places to visit nearby from National Trust houses to multiple things for family fun, like the Wave ( an amazing surfing experience) to Noahs Ark zoo and more. Guest access Guests can use the large kitchen diner, with Range cooker and dishwasher, spacious lounge with wood burning stove, library play room and TV snug with 60 inch smart TV. There is a huge romantic main bedroom with ensuite, wood panelled double bedroom with ensuite, plus two further spacious double bedrooms with a family bathroom. We have a small utility area with washer / dryer and overhead wooden clothes rack. There are gardens front and back, a south facing front garden, outside breakfast patio area to the rear, 'shabby chic' stables which is our play barn with table tennis and table football and a lovely hot tub on request (book separately)...there is also plenty of parking. Other things to note PLEASE NOTE, WE HAVE A MINIMUM TWO NIGHT STAY GENERALLY, BUT OVER CHRISTMAS IT IS 4 NIGHTS, AND NEW YEAR 4 NIGHTS MINIMUM..... OUR HOT TUB IS AVAILABLE ON REQUEST FOR THE WARMER MONTHS OF THE YEAR- AND CHARGED AS AN EXTRA AT 'SOME' BOOKING TIMES.
