Description Hollymead House is a historic Inn in Charlottesville celebrating 50 years. Last purchased in 2018, underwent a 3 year restoration and re-opened in April, 2021. A luxurious stay of casual elegance, many amenities for a pampered stay. Close to wineries, breweries, UVa, Historic venues, downtown Charlottesville, hiking. New Owners and innkeepers are UVa graduate Pam and William who live on-property. The space This Guest room is located on the second floor of the Main Inn. Antique four poster bed with Sapphire Sleep hybrid Queen mattress, luxurious Villa di Lusso linens, duvets, pillows and bath towels. In-room basket weave bathrobes and Swiss PURE toiletries. Private bath includes bathtub, storage space. Large closet and dresser drawers. Breakfast is included in your stay and is served each morning in the Garden Room located on the first floor or may be taken outside on the brick patio or porch weather permitting. Guests have complete access to the the Main Inn’s first floor, which includes a cozy Library with fireplace for relaxing, reading, a game of checkers, chess, backgammon or board games. The 1812 Sitting Room and 1780 Hessian Room is also open after having been fully restored. More than an acre of land to enjoy! Our friendly cat lives in the Main home with us. Guest access We offer free on-site parking and luggage drop off on the circle. Each guest will have access to all outdoor areas and the first floor of the Main Inn. Only paying, overnight guests who have booked the upstairs room will have access to the second floor of the Main Inn to maintain privacy and limit noise. Other things to note This is a smoke-free and pet-free property. Each bedroom suits one or two adults.
