When you book Tudor Cottage, you get: woodburning hilltop sauna with a glass wall and fantastic views, parking onsite, lake for wild swimming, with 2 Kayaks and a rowing boat. Fantastic walks right from the doorstep and recommendations for walks and activities a short drive away. Table tennis, pool table, dart board and Frisbee Golf course. Good wi-fi and mobile signal. Check-in 4pm - Check-out 11am acottageinwales The space A romantic cottage sitting high on a hillside in 18 acres, in a rural setting.The cottage has fabulous, uninterrupted views for over 30 miles! There are 2 bedrooms, one with a king sized bed and ensuite w/c, the other can be made up as a king or 2 singles (please say when booking). We have a foldout single chair-bed in the main bedroom and can make this up if required for groups of 4 singles, please let us know in advance. Our overall capacity will not change from 4. Downstairs there is a kitchen dining room, separate shower room, toilet and lounge leading onto a conservatory which has a workstation. Tudor Cottage has its own fenced off garden with seating area, BBQ ( bring your own charcoal) and chiminea. Smart TV, Wi-Fi, Sonos speakers so you can stream your own music via Spotify or Apple etc and perfect phone reception for most providers. The central location in North Wales means we are only an hour away from Harlech and Barmouth on the West coast, Zipworld, Snowdon and Betws-y-Coed to the North or Chester to the East. It is a 15min drive to Bala or 30min drive to Llangollen. We only have 2 cottages on the site Tudor Cottage and The Granary. They are completely separate from each other with their own private outside areas. There is plenty of parking right next to the cottage. acottageinwales Guest access We can also offer a secure garage for your bikes, with power washer, bike stand and tools if you need them. The area is ideal for mountain biking or road cycling. We have several picnic benches in amazing areas for sitting and finishing off the day with a glass of wine. Motorcyclists are very welcome and we can offer you a secure garage for your bike. This area of North Wales has to be one of the best biking areas in the UK!. Other things to note We have produced a Guidebook App that you can save to your phone - this will help guide you in and guide you to all our recommended places to visit, activities and places to eat out. I will send you a text link the App when you book. Bala has the largest lake in Wales offering a choice of water sports including rafting. Mountain biking centres- Coed y Brenin, Antur Stiniog, One Planet Adventure, Marin Trail or Penmachno. For walkers wanting quieter routes other than Snowdon try the Berwyn Range, the Aran, Arenig or Cader Idris. Local market towns to explore including Bala, Llangollen or Ruthin. Betws-y-Coed is good for outdoor equipment shopping or walking from. We now have an EV Charger onsite - to use it and pay, you will need to download the Monta EV Charging App. We can't always guarantee having dry logs available for the woodburner and sauna, so please bring your own. You might also need firelighters to help you light them. Our changeover days are Fridays and Mondays as they are the only days our cleaner can attend, so we couldn't accept a booking starting Thursday for instance.
