The apartment is located in Otranto in Via dei Pioppi, and precisely at the foot of the Colle della Minerva, where the Sanctuary dedicated to the Eight Hundred Martyrs stands. It is located 400 m from the Aragonese Castle, 800 m from the port and the first bathing establishments, 1.8 km from the Bauxite Quarry Lake and 2 km from the suggestive Bay of Orte, from which you can see the Palascìa Lighthouse. The Baia dei Turchi, recognized as one of the most beautiful beaches in the Adriatic, is just 5 km away. The space The cost does not include tourist taxes (which range from €1 to €1.50 per person per night) and any bath and bed linen, to be requested in advance (the cost is €20 per person). The apartment is located in Otranto in Via dei Pioppi, and precisely at the foot of the Colle della Minerva, where the Sanctuary dedicated to the Eight Hundred Martyrs stands. It is located a few minutes from the Port, a few minutes from the Red Lake (former bauxite quarry) and the beautiful Bay of Orte, from which you can see the Lighthouse of Palascìa, 12 minutes from the first city beaches. Our proposal ranges from seaside and nature itineraries (populated beaches and pristine coves, nature reserves and botanical gardens) to places of artistic interest that dot this corner of Salento. The intention is to allow the guest, thanks also to the guides made available to them and to our personal itinerary, to temporarily inhabit these lands. Trying to deepen, where you want, the history, traditions, customs, places of worship and food and wine culture. This is not a bed and breakfast but a private apartment located on the second floor of a building in a central residential complex. The castle and the port are within a 5-minute walk, the first seaside resorts within 10-15 minutes. 50 meters from the apartment is the Otranto Porto coplanar, useful to avoid high season traffic and immediately take the road that leads to the Alìmini or, in the opposite direction, to Santa Cesarea Terme. The apartment has 3 bedrooms. The largest room is equipped with a double bed and a bunk bed, equipped with class A inverter air conditioning; the second is a double room with class A air conditioning; the third has a double bed with a fan. In the large living room (equipped with air conditioning) there is a sofa bed, so there are ten beds in total. All the bedrooms, as well as the living room-kitchen, have a French window overlooking the balcony. One bathroom has a bathtub, toilet, bidet and sink; the other bathroom lacks a bidet. The house is equipped with a thermo-autonomous system and a washing machine and hairdryer. It has a garage that can accommodate up to two medium-sized cars and whose ramp is adjacent to the entrance of the house. The building has no elevator. Guest access The apartment has a garage, which is located 10 meters from the residential complex. Other things to note The fee calculated by the platform does not include tourist taxes, which range from €1 to €1.50 per person per night, up to a maximum of 7 days.
