The space The house is located in the centre of the small picturesque French village of Corsaint and yet it feels completely private since it is neither attached nor overlooked. The property has been tastefully renovated with modern amenities whilst retaining many original features such as flagstones and oak beams. Downstairs is open-plan with a well equipped kitchen and dining area for four people; there are also comfy sofas and a cozy log fire for those cooler evenings. French doors lead into the south facing garden. Upstairs is a spacious double bedroom (bed 160cms x 200cms) and bathroom with walk in shower and bath; there is underfloor heating throughout. Quality linens (bed made up) and towels are provided. The mezzanine area has a sofa bed (pulls out to a full 160cms x 200cms) and a large desk suitable for setting up as a home office. Guest access Access is available to all parts of the house including the garden, cellar and a spot for private off-road parking right outside the front door. Other things to note There is a private parking space right outside the house. Nearest electric vehicle charging points are 6kms away in Époisses. The house has fibre internet. The cellar off the kitchen has enough space to store bikes if you want to bring them. Geothermal central heating and a plentiful supply of logs for the fire will keep you cosy in the cooler months making this property an ideal base for exploring the area year round. There is a fast (1 hour to Paris) TGV train from the local station of Montbard which is a 20 minute drive from the house.
