PORTO HELI Porto Heli is a charming village located in the southernmost part of the Argolis prefecture of Peloponnese. The village is situated around a beautiful natural harbor. The coastline is laced with some wonderful beaches for all tastes. One can find organized beaches with sunbeds, water-sports and beach bars, as well as quiet pebble coves that are perfect for swimming. The entertainment options are various. The waterfront features many restaurants, cafes and bars, while the cosmopolitan island of Spetses is only a short distance by speedboat or water taxi. Getting to Porto Heli Porto Heli is approximately a two hour and 30 minutes drive from Athens. A taxi can be arranged from Athens airport (price approx. 300 Euro) or a car can easily be rented too. An alternative is to get a taxi from the airport to the port of Pireus. From there there are fast boats (sea jet, flying cat or flying dolphin) that can take you to Porto Heli in 2-3 hours depending on which one you chose. The house is 10 minutes drive from Port Heli town centre so a car is necessary to get around as there is no public transport in the area.
