Stable Cottages is a complex of six beautiful holiday homes in Kent. Our cosy purpose-built cottages are situated in in the picturesque hamlet of St. Mary Hoo and surrounded by 20 acres of beautiful Kent countryside. With panoramic views across the Thames Estuary and an abundance of wildlife, the location offers the setting for some of the best walks in Kent. The space As well as being so peaceful and secluded, Stable Cottages are uniquely placed and also benefit from being conveniently close to Rochester with easy access to main roads such as the A2 and M25 and excellent rail links to London (from either Strood, Rochester or Ebbsfleet International stations). The cottages are therefore an ideal base for families visiting Kent on holiday, couples looking for a peaceful countryside retreat or those working in the local area and looking for somewhere quiet and comfortable to spend their evenings. There are four two bedroom cottages on site (numbers 1-4) which each sleep up to five people, and two four bedroom cottages (numbers 5 & 6) each sleeping up to 8 people. All six cottages were purpose-built and are very well equipped to make your stay here as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. They are surrounded by acres of rural farmland and fields and the cottages all have stunning views from inside across the marshes towards the mouth of the river. Inside, our charming oak beamed cottages offer comfortable open plan living/dining areas and stylish recently-renovated kitchens and bathrooms equipped with everything you'll need during your stay. Guests holidaying here will have shared access to our fantastic on-site facilities throughout their stay including our fitness area, indoor games room, outdoor play park and laundry room.
