Traditional Town House with Pool (Summer) & Views

Please Read the description and amenities thoroughly before booking. I have tried to be very honest so you know what to expect. Traditional stone built town-house with pool (open June - Sept), in the heart of a farming village in the foothills of the Spanish Pyrenees. Sleeps 6-8, with an open-plan kitchen/diner, terrace with views of Narieda mountain, garden with BBQ & small unheated swimming pool. The Mediterranean climate makes it an ideal choice for those seeking tranquility or adventure. The space Inside Space: The house comfortably sleeps 6-8 people in 4 bedrooms (1 King, 1 Double, 1 Twin, 1 Bunk Bed). There is a small office space upstairs (with no natural light) in the attic with a desk and sofa. The lounge/diner has large windows and is full of light, with a wood-burning stove for those winter months, 48inch Smart TV (where you can login to your Netflix account), and WIFI. The kitchen is traditional old style (don’t expect marble worktops and high end furnishings) - but it’s equipped with everything you need - a dishwasher, microwave and oven/hob. As it is street facing it does lack natural light. Please note that there is no washing machine in the property. There is a laundrette a few minutes drive away in Organya. Bathrooms There is only one bathroom so please only book if you are fully prepared to share with your party. Again it is traditional old style, with a bath and overhead shower (see photos in listing). There are two additional toilets in the garden next to the pool. One set of Bed Linen and one bath-towel each (for internal use only) is included. Please bring extra towels if needed. Outside Space: Two small terraces lead off the house, one with seating for 4 people - and a garden with outside dining for 8 people, BBQ and an unheated swimming pool open June to Sept. There is a small comfy seating area and sun loungers. Please Note: The garden is below the house and reached via two sets of gated stairs that briefly (one step) cross a communal area. This is a Town House, not an isolated villa, so although the garden is private, there are apartments with balconies that overlook the garden, although our neighbours will respect your privacy. Parking There is no parking directly outside the property. It is a narrow street, and a dead end. You can stop outside to unload, but then reverse and find a parking space nearby. Guest access Guests have private access to the entire property, terrace, garden and pool which is private to the house. Please Note - This is a Town House, NOT an isolated villa, so although the garden is private, there are apartments with balconies that overlook the garden, although our neighbours will respect your privacy. Other things to note I do not accept bookings for groups of young adults. The house is situated in a village with close neighbours. Therefore I ask that you respect the neighbours by not playing loud music and partying until the early hours of the morning. Hikers and ramblers, the house is situated at the epi-centre of hundreds of walking routes. Cyclists, mountain bikers and trail riders, this valley provides miles and miles and miles of off-road heaven. Climbers, choose between Santa Fe, Tres Ponts, Col de Nargo and Narieda, just a few minutes away. Water babies can enjoy canyoning, white water rafting, canoeing & kayaking. And for those that love hot air, the mountains of Organya are the home of paragliding, where the unique geography means there is constant lift on the 3,500ft mountain. In the winter months, for skiing, snowboarding and other winter activities, you can be at the ski slopes of Andorra, Port del Comte, La Molina, Llavorsí, Font Romeu and the Nordic ski resort of Tuixent-La Vansa in about 90 minutes. Please note that there are two Fígols in Catalonia! Our house is a situated in Fígols i Alinyà in Alt Urgell, it is not the Figols in Berguedà (Berga).
