It is an outbuilding of one of the most beautiful estates in Périgord, La Chartreuse du Maine. As in the early 18th century, here everything breathes peace, harmony and beauty. It is the perfect place to recharge and radiate as you discover the beautiful Dordogne-Périgord region. The space Catherine and Maxence are happy to host you in their vacation home, La Cuisine d'Alice, in La Chartreuse du Maine. A romantic house par excellence, La Cuisine d'Alice is a former Maine outbuilding dating back to 1702. Its careful renovation has retained all its character while providing luxurious comfort for two people. It offers a private flower garden with furniture and a barbecue. The interior is a beautiful 60 m2 space, 5 meters high under the magnificent original framework that we have left exposed. It consists of: -A large open space including living room, lounge (large usable fireplace, wood provided free of charge), dining room and "American" kitchen - A double bedroom (160 x 200 bed), open to the living room: from the bed you can see the fire in the fireplace. So romantic! - A bathroom adjoining the bedroom. Wi-Fi (strong signal) throughout the house, computer not provided. Baby cot available on request. The windows open onto the gardens of the Chartreuse. Excellent central heating through the floor, towel radiator in the bathroom. Alice's Kitchen is a cozy and romantic nest. The sophisticated decor, a nod to country cafes and grocery stores, is warm. This is the perfect home for a couple, or even better, newlyweds on their honeymoon! Guest access You are welcome in the entire space of this estate, which covers 27 ha of park with vegetable garden, heated swimming pool (from May 15 to September 30), and private woods with walking paths. Other things to note The large swimming pool is to be shared with the occupants of two other vacation homes (8 people in total maximum) located in the same area.
