Pottery Cottage is a high quality well-furnished 2 bedroomed cottage in the Eden Valley only 12 min from the Lake District in the beautiful unspoilt village of Skelton with views of the fells. It is a short walk from the Dog and Gun, a Michelin star restaurant/pub bistro. Skelton is on the North Eastern edge of the stunning Lake District a short drive to beautiful Ullswater. The market town of Penrith is 10 mins by car, Keswick 25min, Pooley Bridge (20min) and Carlisle 25mins. Sadly no pets. The space Cottage facilities: Ground floor with entrance hall leading to lounge/dining room with Smart 40 inchTV, DVD player and a selection of dvd's, books, games and maps. The lounge has views to both the south and west towards the northern fells There is a fully equipped new kitchen including ceramic hob, electric oven, fridge, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher. Guests have access to their own freezer situated in the walk in outhouse / recycling area. On the first floor you will find 2 bedrooms. Bedroom 1 with a kingsize bed and Bedroom 2 with two full size single beds. The bathroom has a wash basin, WC and bath with thermostatically controlled overhead shower. All heating costs are included. Good Wifi included. ALL BED LINEN and TOWELS PROVIDED. Iron and ironing board. The cottage has on-site parking for one car and under cover storage for bicycles. Guests have use of their own garden area/s and a terrace accessed from the living room. The property is south facing, capturing the days sun and the evening sunsets. Your terrace is elevated and enjoys wonderful views over to Blencathra, the garden is relaxing and plenty of seating is available, so you'll catch the sun wherever it is.
