The Farmhouse Cabin is an authentic rustic log cabin surrounded by creeks and forest. It is a peaceful retreat where you can enjoy the surrounding nature and wildlife in the Ouachita Mountain foothills. You can hike the trails, cookout or picnic in the yard, explore the area or just sit back and enjoy the view and tranquility from the porch swing. The space • The Farmhouse Cabin is a 2-story, 720 square feet historic cabin with modern amenities such as Wifi and TVs with Streaming & BluRay Disc Player. • The loft sleeping area has two queen beds, a double bed and a twin bed as well as a large television. • The main living area has a new comfy sofa and large screen TV. • Kitchen and Dining Area include Microwave, Full Size Refrigerator, Toaster Oven, 2-Burner cooktop, Cookware, dishes and Utensils. • The cabin has a connecting wooden deck that leads just a few feet away, to a nice size restroom with shower as well as a delightful private outdoor covered shower. • Experience dramatic rustic views from the covered front porch swing or rocking chair. • A fire pit, barbecue grill and picnic table are provided for your outdoor gatherings and cookouts. • Well-behaved pets are welcome with pre-approval and with a non-refundable pet deposit of $50 per pet (maximum two dogs up to 50 lbs. each). • (Sorry, no cable or satellite is available). Other things to note CORONA VIRUS: We are taking extra precautions disinfecting our cabins so that our guests can feel as safe as possible. There is plenty of space outside here for fresh air and to social distance yourself from others. Mobile phone service is sketchy depending on your carrier and your location on the property. The cabin is equipped with a landline for your safety and convenience. You will receive the phone number with your welcome letter. PLEASE NOTE: The cabin is located in a wooded area where nature rules! Small bears, deer and turkey are common to see on the property and coyote can be heard howling at times. If you choose to venture into ungroomed wooded areas on the property, be aware of snakes, insects, sharp rocks, and uneven terrain.
