This delightful 200 year old stone cottage is a short walk from the centre of Stamford with its pubs, shops and beautiful stone architecture. It is listed for 4 people, with 2 bedrooms, both en-suite, but has an additional convertible bed settee, allowing a maximum of 6. NB: Special rates for Burghley Week (early September) This is a high quality and lovely place to stay. Please see my reviews. The space The living space is comfortable and well proportioned, based on sofas. There is a television, hi fi and blue ray. There is a fully modernised kitchen with cooker, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine and drier (when needed). There is also a delightful cottage garden at the front and a small patio garden at the back. Each of the two double bedrooms has an ensuite shower room ( one with bath). There is an additional toilet downstairs. Guest access The house and outside spaces will be fully available. Other things to note Please note, stays during Burghley ( when available) will be at considerably increased rates. There is no parking available at the property, but unrestricted spaces can usually be found in nearby roads. If there is luggage to unload it is usually ok to park outside the cottage, unload then move the car as soon as possible.
