This fine terraced cottage lies in the picturesque village of Amberley, widely regarded as one of the most beautiful villages in England. Situated at the foot of the South Downs, it lies within the newly created South Downs National Park. The space Densford Cottage is a pretty end-terrace cottage situated in the picturesque conservation village of Amberley, regarded as one of the most beautiful villages in England. Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty at the foot of the South Downs within the South Downs National Park. The village has wonderful views of the Amberley Wildbrooks nature reserve, a Site of Special Scientific Interest on the flood plain of the River Arun, where cattle graze amongst the migrating birds. Amberley has many historic buildings and thatched cottages and is just a three minute walk to the 900 year old church which adjoins the 11th century Amberley Castle, now a renowned hotel set in stunning grounds with superb dining (booking is advised). The village also has a tearoom (seasonal), a pottery and local shop with a post are three local pubs within a three minute drive. Additional Information: Sorry, no infants under the age of two years or pets please. There is a pond in the garden which is unfenced and there is also a drop behind the wall at the end of the garden, please ensure that children are supervised at all times. Guests with limited mobility and younger children, please be aware of steep stairs. Please note: Densford Cottage is the end terrace in a row of three cottages. Whilst private, the residents of the two further properties do have easements of way across the rear and side pathways for purposes such as refuse collection etc. Guest access Ground Floor: Sitting room With a wood burning stove, television and DVD player. Dining area With dining table seating four guests and two steps up to the kitchen. Kitchen With an electric hob and oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and with french doors to the rear garden. Utility room With a washer/dryer Bathroom With a bath and hand-held shower attachment, wash basin and WC. Steep stairs with narrow tread to the first floor. First Floor: Bedroom one With a 4'6 bed and en-suite shower room. En-suite shower room With shower, wash basin and WC. Bedroom two With twin single beds. Outside: Fully enclosed rear garden with patio and garden furniture. There is a pond in the garden which is unfenced and there is also a drop behind the wall at the end of the garden, please ensure that children are supervised at all times. Other things to note Please note single bedroom also has a pull out truckle bed suitable for a child.
