Spacious living with style

Stay in a spacious 110 m² light-flooded apartment 'Apartment Geschendorf,' lovingly furnished with a mixture of country house style and modern. A total of 6 people can be accommodated comfortably. The apartment is located in the vicinity of farms, so sensitive noses could be disturbed by occasional country air. The space With a lot of love and a dose of optimism, we converted this former cowshed into an approx. 115 m² apartment. Today we are happy about the beautiful, spacious and bright apartment that has been created. Hallway with interior glazing and Biedermeier cabinet. In almost all rooms, we extended the windows to the floor, so that the dark stable became a bright apartment. In the North German style, we separated the hallway from the living area with an interior glazing in traditional construction. This ensures both sufficient light and a cozy accent. Amenities The apartment has a large living and dining area with a modern equipped kitchenette and three bedrooms with a total of six beds. We have covered the living and sleeping areas with solid oak floorboards, which go well with our antiques. Kitchenette The furniture is composed of a mixture of classical modernism and classicist antiques. Some of the furniture comes from Geschendorf, others are more "urban," but fit in seamlessly. The large control chest in the hallway was kindly given to us by our neighbor, and was certainly once the pride and joy of a young farmer's daughter. Also in the hallway is a North German Biedermeier cabinet made of oak, but it is not from Geschendorf. The cast iron radiators have a special story to tell, which is beyond the scope of this document, but they give off a wonderful warmth, almost like an oven. The table is a classic E2, where E stands for Eiermann. For the chairs, we used replicas by Arne Jakobsen and Marcel Breuer (not yet in the photo). We hope you enjoy the combination. The black-and-white images are mixed from the works of August Sander and Theodor Möller, two great portraitists. In addition to a large bathroom with a bathtub and shower, a separate guest toilet is available, so that several people can also live comfortably. The bathroom is equipped with underfloor heating and a barrier-free shower. In the kitchen, what is generally needed is available; a dishwasher, coffee maker and toaster are a matter of course. A free WiFi hotspot is available in all our apartments.
