The space Our traditional stone house “Petrini Krini “(Stone Fountain), is located in the small village of Ypsilometopo, in a peacefull environment, away from the main tourist aeras. Our pool or the beaches of Petra (12 kms) and Molyvos (15 kms) will refresh you in summer, while the mountains and our fireplace will offer you quiet, cozy moments of relaxation in winter. This apartment, modern and clean is at the second floor of the house. It can host 6 guests and is fully furnished. It has 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds each. The living room has a sofa for 1 or 2 people. There is one full bathroom with a toilet and a separate toilet. The kitchen is fully equipped. The apartment has internet connection, TV, DVD player, a writing desk. You will enjoy to eat or to take the sun on the private terrace with a nice view. During the summer, A/C and fan can be used for cooling, while in winter time central heating or A/C can be used for heating. Ypsilometopo is a small picturesque village literally smothered in green. The people there are taking care of their garden and their animals. You will enjoy the traditional stone houses and stone paths, the old fountains with running water. You will discover the old Turkish baths, the minaret. The location is ideal for daily trip around the island. Explore the various beaches, go to island hot baths, visit nearby Turkey, visit museums and the Petrified Forest, and go for bird watching… etc. From the house hiking trails also start. The old Christian church is at 30 minutes by foot. It will take you 2 hours to reach the top of Lepetimnos (968 meters) Bikes are at your disposal, free of charge, to explore the around villages. At Stypsi (2 kms) you will find all what you need (bakery, butcher, grocery, pharmacy and taverns). Ypsilometopo has 2 taverns where you will enjoy traditional local dishes.
