Hale kilo hōkū- Near the ocean and Volcano

Hale kilo hōkū means "star gazing house" because you can clearly see the stars while sitting on the Lanai on any given night. This is a brand newly constructed property located in Hawaiian paradise park approximately 1 mile from the ocean. This private bungalow sits towards the back of a 1 acre property with it's own entrance and privacy. The owner residence is also located on the same property. This luxury home includes a covered lanai great for drinking coffee in the morning or gazing at the stars at night. There is a kitchen with acacia wood counter tops and bar area for seating. It includes a plug-in stove top, pots & pans, dishes, utensils, coffee pot, full refrigerator/freezer, water dispenser, plug in oven/broiler/air fryer, and microwave for your convenience. The living room includes a sofa couch that pulls out to a queen size bed for extra guests. Also included is a wall mounted TV for relaxation. The house is equipped with WiFi at no additional charge. Television with a Roku box for streaming movies on Netflix or Hulu. A mini-split air conditioning system provides cooling for your enjoyment and comfort on those hot weathered days. Bathroom has a walk in shower with a see through glass. Color changing lighting and built in shelves stocked with towels. Bedroom includes a Queen size memory foam bed with its own en suite with a Jacuzzi hot tub. Loft area to hangout and read a book. Walls and attic are insulated to keep the temperature comfortable and for complete quietness. The Lanai is great for drinking coffee in the morning as well as gazing at the stars in the nightly sky. Because this property is only a mile away from the ocean, at night you can hear the rumbling sounds of the waves as they crash along the cliffs. Visitors come to the Big Island to explore the volcano and beautiful black sand beaches. Take a four wheel drive up Mauna Kea and visit the second largest mountain in the world or take a drive down to Waipi'o Valley to take a refreshing dip in the ocean as you visit the Valley of the Kings. On Saturdays, the infamous Maku'u market is just up the road with many food vendors and entertainment. Cruise around the island and see what this "Big island" has to offer. **This property is on water catchment which is not suitable for drinking or cooking. Some bottles of drinking water is provided but any additional drinking water needed is to be brought by guests. Entire backyard area. Pahoa town has lots of restaurants, coffee shops, and other stores. Further down is the Volcano National Park as well as the remnants from the most recent lava flow from Kilauea. The new Puna Kai shopping center offers shopping, restaurants, a gym, and more. Maku'u market has lots of food vendors and entertainment on Saturdays or you can try Uncle Robert's kava bar down in Kalapana. If you like hikes, Kaloli point is less than a mile down the road, where you can take a 2.5 mile hike down to the secluded and beautiful Hā'ena Beach. This island is the biggest island in our state and there is lots to see and explore. Some places may require a four wheel drive vehicle.
