The area has developed a lot in recent years, with many supermarkets, restaurants, bakeries, leisure options and excursions (fishing, boat and speedboat rides, pirate boat, trails with panoramic views, bicycle rental, surfing, bodyboarding, stand up paddle, etc.), and Canto Grande beach (Mar de Dentro), which is right next door, parallel to Mariscal Beach. When you're there, there's no need to leave for anything unless you want to (the entire peninsula has 18 beaches).
