Guest access The Calafia development is a gated community with secure access. There is assigned semi-covered parking for one vehicle and open guest parking for one additional vehicle. We are located 5-10 minutes south of downtown Rosarito with easy access to restaurants, shopping, and beaches. Valle de Guadelupe (Baja's version of Napa Valley Vineyards) is a short 45-minute scenic drive along well-maintained roads with breathtaking mountain and coastal scenery. Other things to note Minimum Age For Renters: We do not rent to groups where the primary guest or the majority of renters are under 25 years old. The Calafia development is a quiet, family-friendly community. It is NOT a spring break party-type atmosphere. Washer and Dryer: Available for stays of 7 nights or longer. Front Door Entry: A personal access code will be provided prior to arrival for electronic check-in at the front door. Per HOA requirements, no grilling is allowed on balconies. There are multiple charcoal grills available throughout the common areas on a first-come, first-serve basis. Bring your charcoal briquets and enjoy grilling your favorites while watching the waves roll in. Please clean grills after use. Booking for up to 6 occupants is allowed. Due to the development's rules, infants and children count toward the 6 person occupancy limit. Please note that exceeding the agreed upon number of occupants approved on the guest's original booking request will result in a fine of $200 per person per day and removal from the development with no refund of booked stay. Day visitors are not allowed, nor is the switching of guests indicated on the original booking request or after check-in. This is monitored very closely by security. Contract: A rental contract is required upon booking. Families with children are certainly welcome at our suite however our home has not been officially "child-proofed". Being a high-rise condominium, children should not be left unattended at anytime at the condominium or within the development.
