Grand Chalet by the stream in heart of Val-David

Outdoor lovers' paradise! We are located steps away from Parc Regional and Petit train du Nord for the outdoor enthusiasts. You can also walk to coffee shops, stores and boutiques. Enjoy our private jacuzzi all year. IMPORTANT: This listing is to rent both floors of the cottage. Both floors only communicate if a request is put in as they connect through our storage room. The space This home is known as one of the most beautiful spots in Val-David. This house is equipped with everything you need to feel right at home and more :hot tub, dishwasher, washer, dryer, flat screen tv, fireplace, high-speed wifi, cable, etc. The upper unit has 2 very large bedrooms: 1 King with ensuite bathroom and a second bedroom with 2 Queens and ensuite bathroom. It has a total of 3 full bathrooms, a large kitchen with dishwasher and a beautiful stone fireplace (wood burning). There is a 3-season sun-room off the dining area with beautiful views over the stream and nature and the sound of the waterfall in the summer. The lower unit spans the stream level of the duplex and has 2 large bedrooms: 1 Queen with lots of storage and a second bedroom with 1 Double + 1 Twin and and extra Twin mattress under the double bed. The spacious living room offers a wood burning stove which gives off a nice heat. This unit also has its own kitchen with lots of storage, a dishwasher and a bathroom with laundry area. Just next to the stream's edge, you can walk out directly onto your covered patio and sit in the hammock chairs and listen the the stream's waterfall. The units may be rented separately (sound-proofing is very good between the 2 units, but NOT appropriate for parties/loud music) or together for a larger group. Please see our other listings if you wish to rent each chalet separately. The units can communicate if a request is put in as they connect through our storage space on the lower floor. Guest access Look for the big white house on your left after the Sapinière bridge. Make a left and you will enter the parking shortly after. You will also have 4 free accesses to the Regional Park where you can enjoy different sports and activities depending on the season (walking, biking, rock climbing ($), bird watching, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, sledding and more.) Bring your own equipment or rent it at the Regional park which is right next door. Summer In summer fish on the stream, relax in the hot tub, explore the Regional Park (hiking, biking, rock climbing), hop on a bike and find yourself at Lac Raymond's beach in less then 10 minutes. And don't forget the little village of Val-David (ice cream, restaurants, market, grocery, etc) which is just a 5 minute walk. Winter In winter our chalets are X country ski in, ski out! Over 160km of groomed cross-country ski trails, 30km of snowshoeing trails (dogs welcome for snowshoeing!), 2 sledding runs, 3 skating rinks and the cute little village of Val-David...all just steps from our chalets. Downhill skiing is just 2km away. Other things to note CITQ 615904 Minimum stay of 2 nights, 3 nights for holiday weekends. All linens and bath towels are provided but please bring your own beach towels for the pool and hot tub. Our kitchens are fully equipped so you only need to plan for your food. If you don't feel like packing everything in your cooler, there is a great grocery store (Metro Dufresne) minutes away where you can stock up on what you need.
