This sunny loft is located in the heart of the Pearl District, steps away from grocery stores, top-rated restaurants, coffee shops, wine bars, art galleries, boutiques and more (walk score of 97!). Parking for one car included. This is our second home, not another soulless corporate serviced apartment. As such, it comes stocked with the things that you'll need to be comfortable. We want you to enjoy it as much as we do. The space The first thing you'll notice is the light filling the loft through the big, East-facing windows and the open feeling of the 10 foot ceilings. Next, you'll notice the elegant and tasteful interior design by award-winning designer Arlene Lord. Step out onto the spacious 220 sq. ft. deck with a deep sofa sectional and a breakfast table - it's like an outdoor living room. Sleeps up to 4 (the couch converts into a surprisingly comfortable queen-sized bed). The sleeping area features a queen size bed with a Westin Heavenly mattress, premium Italian linens and blackout drapes if you want to sleep in. The full kitchen is equipped with a farmhouse sink, dinnerware service for 8, a set of pots & pans, toaster, coffee pot, electric kettle, tea pot, microwave, fridge, dishwasher & ceramic top stove. The dining area seats four. There is a well-lit desk with a comfortable chair if you need to work. The bathroom features a tub/shower and washer/dryer in the laundry closet. CENTRAL AIR CONDITIONING High-speed internet 50 mbps standard (up to 600mpbs available for extra charge) Access to your streaming services via Roku or AppleTV Contactless check in. 31 night minimum. Why a 31-night minimum? The City of Portland classifies any stay of less than 31 nights as a ‘short term’ rental and requires that guests pay an additional 12.5% lodging tax and also requires that owners have a special permit. AirBnB/VRBO automatically collects these taxes on all stays of less than 31 nights. For stays of 31 nights or longer there is no tax. The city also requires that if we do not collect tax, then we must complete a lease covering your stay. Guest access One designated parking space is included, located in the secured garage below the unit. But if you prefer to do without a car, most of what you'll need is close at hand. Portland Streetcar stop: 1 block away Biketown rental bike stop: 1 block away Scooters: Lime, Bolt, Bird, etc: everywhere If you want to go further afield, just grab one of the many cars parked nearby that you can rent by the hour from Zipcar, Free2Move or Turo.
