Rustic 3 bedroom 2 bath home in the woods on Escondido Creek. 100's of trees on 3 acres. Tree swing, basketball hoop, barbecue, tether ball, tree house, & creek. Super private, secluded, minutes away from the Safari Animal Park, Lego Land, Stone Brewery, Hop Highway and great hiking. Our backyard is Elfin Forest Reserve - we are walking distance to the entrance. Great for an out of town vacation or a Stay-cation. The space We are tucked away from it all. You will feel like you are in Colorado in the mountains, but only 10 miles from the beach. Surrounded by trees, during the days tons of birds (varies depending on the season) ... mallards, king fishers, wood peckers, blue heron, red tail and red shoulder hawks, gnatcathers, humming birds, blue jays ... at night crickets, great horned and barn owls, coyotes, raccoons, bobcats, frogs ... the creek has fish, turtles and crayfish ... we have a small orchard with oranges, apples and plums. Guest access You are welcome to the entire property, with the exception of the guesthouse. Other things to note We are on well water. Additionally we are on septic. Honestly you will not know the difference! During the rainy season, the creek can flood, our bridge can overflow with water. It does not happen often, but it does happen. When expecting a major storm we park and I direct my guest to park on the opposite side of the bridge and walk in and out over our neighbors bridge. it adds 5 minutes to your day, and is amazing to see nature's power and beauty.
