This pristine little Scandinavian D-log cabin sits on over 2 quiet wooded acres a brief 5-minute drive from uptown Pagosa (our more commercial area with nicer grocery store, dining, brewery, Walmart, etc) and about 10 minutes to the springs (downtown). Your experience is enhanced with a gas grill, outdoor seating/dining table, fully outfitted kitchen, and even a clearing for campfire and stargazing. Deer and wild turkeys are frequent visitors. Great place to unplug and unwind. VRP-26-0270 The space Nicely decorated fun space with plenty of room to roam and two full staircases to access the sleeping loft. The back side of our ridge has been known to produce treasures of turkey feathers (mostly summer) and a few antlers (winters). Past guests Loved the multi-level patio area with table and chairs for your morning coffee or lunch/dinner. I have tiki torches, candle lights, and more to enhance your experience. There is an awesome fire ring with seating and some items for your cookout. We do experience occasional local fire restrictions (usually in June, our drier month) so I have included a gas grill on the back porch. I will, of course, keep you notified. I have included some light reading for adults and kids as well as games, hiking maps, scat book, and menus/brochures from some of our best local restaurants/attractions. I know you will Love this magical spot and wish to return. Guest access The property extends from just west of the cabin to the sharp bend in the road back east and down most of the backside of the ridge. All yours to explore. Other things to note I recommend guests bring water bottles, beach towels, and/or robes for the hot springs (they can also be rented there). Our summers are mild (under 90...smiles the Okie) and evenings are cool (another smile) so light layers are perfect.
