Welcome to Guest Nest Furnished Stays where you can Stay Like a Local! We offer furnished neighborhood lodging in walkable, livable areas in the near-west suburbs of Chicago. We own and manage these small and vintage-boutique apartment buildings. We convert some or all of our units to furnished apartments available for extended stays. We specialize in offering fully furnished, stylish, and comfortable neighborhood stays. Note: we only offer extended stays of 30 nights or longer. The space THE 321 BUILDING: You will love our charming apartments in this classic Mid-Century apartment building. The building is located at 321 S. Maple Ave. in Oak Park and just a short walk from downtown Oak Park (5 minutes or less). This building was built in the early 1960s therefore it is an older building in which we are constantly improving. All the apartments and common areas have been updated and renovated. However, some features of the building reflect its age - and are typical of the older buildings in the Oak Park area. The building has 9 total apartments. It has four 2-bedroom (1 bathroom) apartments and five 1-bedroom apartments. This building is a California-Style building (common in Oak Park). Such buildings have hallways that are open to the outside (rather than enclosed hallways). THE APARTMENTS: All the apartments have been recently updated and renovated including updated kitchens, bathrooms, windows, doors and flooring. In general, the apartments look and feel fresh and updated. Most of the apartments have a dishwasher. Our 1-bedroom apartments have a Queen size bed in the primary bedroom. Our 2-bedroom apartments have a Queen size bed in the primary bedroom and two twin (single) beds in the secondary bedroom. Each apartment has a desk or dedicated workspace. THE GUEST NEST WAY: We professionally manage this building and the lodging business and we will do everything we can to make your stay comfortable and complete. The apartments are well furnished and stylish with comfortable furniture. The kitchen is stocked with everything you will need to prepare a meal. We provide a smart TV (Roku) and high-speed wireless internet. The bedding and linens are fresh and comfortable and we can periodically provide fresh linens and towels. We maintain a management office nearby and we are available to assist you when needed. THE GUEST NEST PORTFOLIO: We have 37 fully-furnished rentals in Villages of Oak Park, Forest Park, La Grange and River Forest. Each of these historic villages have long been known as great places to visit and to live. We have 1 and 2 bedroom apartments and a few studio apartments. Each comes with 1 parking space (we can sometimes accommodate a 2nd car). On a case-by-case basis, we will allow pets. Since we only do rentals of 30 nights or longer, these apartments are priced at our best monthly rate. Generally the furnished studios are $2,250 per month; furnished 1-bedrooms are $2,500; and furnished 2-bedrooms are $2,750.
