Experience downtown living in the Old Mountain View Neighborhood in the heart of Silicon Valley. You have an entire house to yourselves including a private backyard. Easy commute to many famous hi-tech companies. The space 2 bedroom, 1 bath, 700 sq ft (65 sq meters). Front bedroom has a Single over Queen bunk bed and a small walk-in closet. Back bedroom has a Single over Queen bunk bed with a Single pull-out trundle (so 3 beds in the back bedroom). There is wireless internet access and cable TV. Recently remodeled bathroom with tiled floors and shower. Also new oak hardwood floors installed in the rest of the house. There is a private, fenced backyard that is about 900 sf. Depending on the time of year, you can help yourself to oranges or loquots from the fruit trees. Please note there is no dishwasher in the kitchen. Bright and sunny living room with pass-through window to the kitchen and washer and dryer in the house. Our home is a short 3 block walk to downtown Mountain View's Castro St with hundreds of restaurants of every nationality. We're also a short walk to the Steven's Creek Trail, as well as Caltrain (a Baby Bullet train stop to San Francisco and San Jose) and Light Rail. Close to highways CA85, US-101, CA237 and I-280 (although you can't see or hear any of them). Close to that large search company that starts with a "Goo" and ends with an "gle", that business-oriented social networking company that starts with a "Linked" and ends with "In", Microsoft, Apple, and many other high-tech companies. Less than 6 miles to Stanford University and Stanford Hospital. Although close to so many things, this home is still on a very quite residential street. We know because we live right next door to this listing. If you're doing anything that may create excessive noise or any problems for the neighbors, we're confident this is not the listing for you. Thanks for understanding. With the summer demand in downtown Mountain View, we usually rent this home to one Guest for the full 3 months of Jun/Jul/Aug. So PLEASE do not make a reservation request for that period for any shorter than 2 months. You can feel free to send us an inquiry and we can update you, but PLEASE do not send an actual reservation. If you have any special requests for your arrival, please just let us know. Some friends from the East Coast cannot start a day without Dunkin' Donuts coffee. Not just any coffee, it has to be their brand. Caf or Decaf? Soy milk or Half-n-half? If you have a request, just let us know and we'll do our best to accommodate you.
