Climate crisis - the room has been eco-renovated and a super-insulated using eco-materials to help you have a comfortable stay. Fresh, crisp bed linen, a super comfy mattress, an electric blanket, firm and soft pillows, blackout blinds, combine to help you gave a great night’s sleep. Ventilation with heat recovery provides fresh air even with with windows closed, In winter, the heating is set to the optimal comfort zone of 18º C. Cold water only is provided to the hand basin. There is also an energy efficient electric blanket to help keep you extra snuggly. Climate crisis: Our aim is to cut gas usage completely and have currently achieved a 95% reduction by switching the heating from gas to electricity. Other things to note Location note: Across the River Mersey from Liverpool, this quiet location gives you super easy and rapid access - on fully-electric battery-powered state-of-the-art trains. 5 minutes walk to the underground station Birkenhead Central, then 5 - 10 mins by train to Liverpool or a short bus ride, car or taxi through Birkenhead tunnel. Last trains are before midnight. The last night bus leaves Liverpool around 1:30 am... check times and location on Maps etc.
