Lake Escape

This beautiful holiday house is situated in the tranquil nature security estate of Lake Michelle. The Noordhoek valley remains one of the Cape Town’s treasured destinations. Situated at the foot of Chapman’s Peak and surrounded by Table Mountain National Park, it has a delightful village atmosphere with awesome mountain and sea views. The space Situated on the lake, you can take a paddle around the island, enjoy some sun on the private jetty while reading your favourite book and listening to the birds or take a run along the many paths in and around the estate. Allow your children to ride their bicycles and scooters around the estate without having to be concerned about their safety. This tastefully decorated home offers an ample entrance hall, three large bedrooms, two full bathrooms, guest toilet, large open plan lounge/dining/kitchen with beautiful vaulted ceilings. Direct access to the lake from your private jetty and views a plenty. Open plan kitchen and scullery includes oven and hob, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine, Nespresso machine and drip coffee maker. No need to leave your guests while you put the finishing touches on that delicious meal. A sheltered pool area with a built in barbeque is made for summer entertaining. Winter entertaining is also a breeze with a lovely wood burning fireplace in the lounge that creates a cosy living area. The underfloor heating in the living area, main bedroom and en suite will keep the house toasty. The main bedroom is large with plenty of cupboard space. A small office off the main bedroom, offering a view of the lake which is perfect to get some work done. Large en suite offers a double sink, shower and bidet. There are sliding doors with direct access to the sunny garden and lake. A further two bedrooms that share an inter-leading full bathroom. Each bedroom has access to a private patio. Built in cupboards a plenty, no shortage of storage space. Lake Michelle is an Eco Estate which offers many an opportunity to witness bird and wildlife. Close to malls, Virgin Active gym, scenic drives and fantastic cycling routes, beautiful beaches and fabulous restaurants. Guest access Access to the entire house except for the garage which is needed for storage. There is safe, shaded parking right outside the house. Other things to note For stays longer than one week a cleaner will come in every 7 to 10 days. This is free of charge. For shorter stays the house is not serviced but a cleaner can be organized at your own cost depending upon availability. High speed fibre connected WiFi throughout the house. TV is included with Netflix and Amazon Prime streaming. You will need to use your own Netflix account. There is no DSTV. Please note that unfortunately we can not accommodate requests for extra mattresses, single beds, cots or high chairs.
