Le Gîte d'Elise, quiet and wooded setting.

Come and discover the Ardèche on the Chestnut side! A place lost between mountains, forests and pastures, an independent studio in a friendly house, a swimming pool for relaxation: welcome to Grand Bois! At the end of the village of Pourchères, between Privas and Aubenas, the Grand Bois house dating from the late 18th century was renovated by my parents in 1975 and over the years. The 30 m2 gîte has been arranged on the ground floor of our house, typically built on terraces. The space The gîte is an independent studio of about 30 m2 on the ground floor of our home. Its small terrace overlooks the communal swimming pool and the Ardèche mountains. The house is on terraces, with slopes, stairs and low walls to be taken into account for children and people with reduced mobility. The water distributed in the house is spring water. Guest access Common areas between owners and tenants of the cottage: - swimming pool and its access (partly along the terrace of the gîte) - playground (swing frame). The rest of the property is private (tenants or owners). Other things to note The gîte d'Élise is always rented in the presence of the owners due to the need to maintain the pool and surroundings, even out of season. Swimming pool from the end of June to the end of August. Free loan of baby equipment upon request. Please feel free to make any special requests. Please note: since 2024, the collection of ALL waste has been done at a sorting collection point distributed in the different villages and towns. So everyone is responsible for their garbage, there is no more home collection.
