Stylish one bedroom holiday home is laid out over two floors with a double bedroom overlooking a double-height lounge & dining area. The apartment has a full kitchen, ground floor shower room, its own entrance plus an external terrace area. Individually styled apartment is a blend of traditional rustic materials & contemporary modern design. Maison Secrète sits within 5 hectares of private beautiful pasture land and is 2km from Monpazier, one of Frances most beautiful Villages. The space The apartment has a gorgeous polished concrete floor, layered with rugs and sheep skins, while the loft bedroom is created from reclaimed exposed oak beams. The open plan living room features a comfy chesterfield sofa to relax on and dining area to seat 2. There is a bespoke kitchen made from upcycled materials and finished with a stylish concrete worktop and the ground floor shower room has a large, luxurious walk-in rainforest shower. An artisan-made spiral staircase sweeps you up to the sumptuous loft double bedroom giving wonderful views over the the apartment and the countryside beyond. There is a sun terrace for those lazy days accessed by large double French doors off the open plan living room . There is a small child's bed to accommodate a child. The bed measures 190cm length by 85 cm wide The Apartment can also be booked together with our one of our Maison Secrète Apartments (subject to availability) to give more space for larger family holidays. In creating our wonderful apartments we have tried to minimise our impact on the environment by re-using and upcycling as much material as possible. Much of our furniture has been hand crafted by us from materials we have reclaimed from the original barn, giving you a truly unique holiday experience. The property has a gorgeous 10 x 5 meter outdoor swimming pool available for the guest's use and is surrounded by beautiful countryside, easily accessed via many walking & cycling routes. The GR36 Traversée du Périgord runs along the western edge of our land. The swimming pool is shared with 3 other holiday apartments . The pool is open from 1st May through to 1st October. Guest access There is designated guest parking facilities available at the property and most of the Bastide Villages in the surrounding area benefit from free parking. We also have a number of complimentary bicycles for guests to use, Monpazier is just 7 minutes by bike and there are some lovely locals rides for the more adventurous. You will be provided with a key code so you can gain direct access to the apartment with no need to make specific arrival or departure arrangements. There is a private terrace area with a table and chairs for your use during your stay with us. Plus feel free to use the swimming pool.
