Newly renovated apartment with south balcony The space The apartment is not rented to fitters. The fully renovated 2-room first floor apartment is spacious, quiet and bright. From the entrance on the left is the living room with TV, Wi-Fi and integrated kitchen. This has all the necessary appliances, including a dishwasher. The living room also leads to the south balcony, where you can enjoy sunny hours. To the right of the entrance is the bedroom with a new, 1.80 m wide box-spring bed. Between the rooms is the daylight bathroom, which has a toilet and shower. In the annex there is also a coin-operated washing machine, which you are welcome to share. The apartment is located in Brand, in the district of Öhlbühl, close to the border with Upper Franconia and thus at the foot of the Fichtel Mountains. The spacious surroundings offer countless employment opportunities. In summer you can hike here, go on a bike ride, swim in Lake Nagler or simply enjoy nature on the Ochsenkopf or along the Fichtelnaab. In the wider surrounding area is also Franconian Switzerland, where you will find the stalactite cave Pottenstein, a natural adventure pool and a summer toboggan run. Also the Luisenburg in Wunsiedel, where plays are performed in the open air, with directly adjacent rock labyrinth is not too far away. Culinary delights include numerous Franconian-Bavarian delicacies in the many inns in the area - often with an adjoining beer garden. In winter you can go cross-country skiing on many well-prepared trails. Alpine skiing and snowboarding fans are also catered for with several ski lifts and slopes, including in Mehlmeisel. Shops serving everyday needs such as supermarkets, pharmacies, doctors, ATMs, bakers and butchers are partly located directly in Brand or within a maximum of 10 minutes by car. The closest train station is in Neusorg, which can be reached in a few minutes by car. If you arrive without a car, you can easily arrange the transfer via taxi bus at very moderate prices.
