Marco Island is amazing and has so much to offer its guests. I love our 5 miles of beaches and enjoy them daily, rain or shine. Each area of the 5 mile beach has something fun to offer so I recommend parking at South Beach or Tigertail and explore. We provide plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, etc. for your trips to the beach. Children love to see the fire baton performance right at sunset on the beach in front of the Marriott. Park your bicycle or vehicle at the corner of Winterberry and Collier in the lot and walk the short distance north to the Marriott or take the boardwalk down across from the corner and walk up the beach. We love to go out on the water so we either rent a boat or hop on a fishing or shelling excursion to go out. Wave runner tours are fun in the backwaters and are a must for first time visitors. We love to cook and grill at home so our family doesn't hit a lot of restaurants. However, Snook Inn and Crystal Shores are two of our favorites for lunch and we do enjoy Deep Sea Lagoon for dinner. There are over 100 restaurants to choose from on the island as well as a few ice cream spots. No trip is complete without a trip to the Everglades. Just a short drive down Rt. 41, you will find touristy airboat rides with alligator shows or sanctuaries with museums and you'll see lots of alligators along the way. Shark Valley allows you to see the alligators up close and personal.
