Welcome to La Blancherie, a former farmhouse from 1824, completely renovated. The house is surrounded by a hectare, it is the perfect place to meet with family or friends around the fireplace in winter or on the terrace in summer for moments of conviviality. This is a semi-detached house, totally independent, facing EAST, without neighbors, in its green setting. Everything is provided for relaxation, rest, contemplation. The space Depending on your booking, you will have one, two or three bedrooms. The "master" bedroom Celadon has a bathroom, the other two bedrooms (Fougères and Bois de Roses) are independent and share the second bathroom The large living room is very bright and pleasant at any time and any season, it has a very well-equipped adjoining kitchen and access to the terrace and garden. 4 minutes from Forcalquier, a small bustling town, known for its markets (Monday and Thursday), its producers, restaurants, shops and galleries. For hiking lovers, the region is full of walks or bike rides (some from the house!). Several exceptional natural sites are easy to access (Mourres Natural Park, Colorado Provençal, the Verdon Gorges, Sainte Croix and Esparron lakes), as well as the must-see Valensole, Banon, Aix en Provence... Guest access You have two parking spaces. A car is required to get to and around the area. On the other hand, from our home, the center is a 20-minute walk, 10 minutes by bike. If you love walking, the neighborhood offers many beautiful walks in nature. Other things to note Only the master bedroom is on one level and has an ensuite bathroom. The other two rooms are accessible by a few steps. A small office space and a very good internet connection make it possible to work from home.
