Description
Sundew has been fully refurbished for 2024 and is just beautiful. Every attention to detail has been thought of throughout the works to ensure guests' comfort and enjoyment, and the result is a classical, luxurious, and welcoming space. Perfectly located on the main harbourside street in Looe, the apartment is within easy reach of the beach (less than 5 minute stroll), shops, cafes, restaurants, and the pubs of old Looe. The space The property is approached by a single flight of internal steps and is arranged on one level. The fully refurbished living/dining kitchen area occupies the whole of the front of the apartment. The views over the town and river can be enjoyed from the dining table and also from the new window seat in the lounge area. The newly fitted kitchen is well equipped and now includes a dishwasher and a Nespresso vertuo coffee machine for the coffee lovers amongst you. There is also a smart TV with a Samsung sound bar and free wifi is provided. The spacious bedroom has a super king-size bed with a luxury tempur mattress and pillows, and the linen is 400 thread count Egyptian cotton so guests can be sure of the most restful and comfortable night's sleep, an essential element of any good holiday! The fully modernised shower room has a large walk-in rain shower and luxury soft towels. There is a newly installed central heating and air-conditioning system ensuring a comfortable stay all year round. Sundew is a great spot for just two, splendidly equipped and with everything you will need close at hand. Parking is available in the Millpool car park just a few minutes walk from the apartment and the cost of this will be reimbursed for stays of 7 nights and longer (Apr-Oct £25/Nov-Mar £15). Other things to note Sundew is a first floor one bedroom apartment situated in the heart of Looe. It is a 5 minute walk to the main Millpool car park, additional free parking is available opposite the petrol (5 min. walk) with a limit of one hour and there is short stay pay parking in the harbour side car park opposite the apartment. The Looe railway station is a 5-10 minute flat walk and the nearest bus stop is a 3/5 minute walk located outside the Old Bridge GP surgery. The East Looe beaches and facilities are a 5/7 minute flat walk away and the quieter beaches of Hannafore and West Looe are a 20 minute walk which is hilly in places. Exterior: The accommodation is reached via a short, uphill walk on Shutta Road; there are 5 concrete steps, each 7in (17cm) in height up to the entrance door which is 29in (74cm) wide with a threshold step of 5in (15cm) onto the entrance mat. There are no garden or balcony facilities at this apartment. Living Areas: From the entry hall there are 13 stairs each 8in (20cm) high, which are carpeted, up to a further entry door which is 29in (74cm). There is a handrail.
