Quiet rural French retreat

Situated in the beautiful village of Theil, near Sauze Vaussais in the South of the Deux-Sevres department, reknowned for its fields of sunflowers and micro-climate. The space This charming traditional French Gite comprises of on the ground floor :- Living/dining area with a wood burner, well equipped kitchen, utility/toilet room. Stairs lead from the living area to the first floor where there are 4 bedrooms sleeping up to 8 people and two shower rooms. Externally to the front of the property there are 2 lawned areas and a drive with space for two cars. At the rear there is a private garden with a 6.5 metre swimming pool enclosed by a Cypress hedge. The Gite is also equipped with English TV, accessible via Freesat. Free WiFI is also provided. Guest access The Gite is easy accessible by car, or alternatively the region is well served by airports at Poitiers, La Rochelle, Tours and Limoges. Additionally, the Eurostar/TGV operates a service from London St Pancras to Poitiers. Other things to note The historic cities of Poitiers, Niort, Angouleme, Limoges, La Rochelle, Bordeaux, and Saintes are within easy reach. My parents bought the property in 1996 and I have been coming here regularly since. I moved here permanently in 2018 and have built up a knowledge of places to visit that may not be on the normal tourist map.
