With two bedrooms (sleeping up to four people), the cottage has been designed to a high specification and offers guests great comfort and modern conveniences within an environment steeped in history. Within its stunning open plan living space, lovely bedrooms, bath and shower rooms and a gorgeous private courtyard garden, the cottage is the perfect place to holiday and explore Norfolk & Suffolk...or just retreat into. The bedrooms and ensuite bathroom and showroom have been beautifully designed with comfort as the focus....with sumptuous mattresses, bed linen, state of the art shower and deep bath...all so that your stay feels special and cosy. There is a wood-burner for the colder months and underfloor heating throughout. In the warmer months the private courtyard allows you to enjoy being outside surrounded by wonderful plants and flowers. At night time there are external lights to illuminate the garden. Also within the grounds of the hall and merely a stone's throw from the property is Earsham Hall Tearooms, Earsham Home Furnishings and a garden centre during the warmer summer months. Earsham Hall and The Gardener's Cottage are situated outside of the main village of Earsham with the village being an enjoyable twenty five minute walk away. The village pub, Earsham Queen's Head has an interesting variety of guest beers and even hosts a winter beer festival. If you're interested in sampling some locally produced wine, the renowned Flint Vineyard, Earsham is on your doorstep, and Chet Vineyard, Bergh Apton is only a short drive away. Nearby village Kirby Cane is home to The Olive Tree bar and restaurant where you can enjoy some authentic Italian cuisine. Just a few minutes in the car and you will find yourself in the popular market towns of Bungay and Beccles. Bungay's Earsham Street has been referred to as the Shoreditch High Street of Suffolk with a wonderful collection of independent shops, coffee shops and restaurants....and a lively energy. Both towns have a variety of shops, cafes, restaurants and delis. Beccles is nestled by the River Waveney making it a gateway to the Broads where you can hire boats and explore the tranquil waterways of Norfolk and Suffolk. There are also great paddle board and canoe hiring facilities straight onto the River Waveney at either Outney Meadow, Bungay, Three Rivers or Geldeston.
