Outside of the private entrance, you'll find a Jacuzzi (great for enjoying the sunsets over the ocean) as well as an outdoor bench to enjoy the privacy and environment, watch for whales or read that book you've been putting off. It's very quiet, with the soft and gentle, but unmistakable sound of the surf below you. In the back are hiking and biking trails extending for miles into the unpopulated California and Oregon forests. The beach is accessible by a 5 minute drive below the property. There are opportunities for beachcombing where we actually find agates. you can collect mussels or crabs and cook them for dinner. You can venture to Redwood National Park located 18 miles to the south, and the famous Rouge River with jet boat rides in Gold Beach 40 minutes away.
