Not far away you can find a very good selection for daily needs in Slagelse, there are large supermarkets and a shopping center. As a sight, every Wednesday the Garte rides through the town. The animal and play park Birkegårdens Haver with its 10,000 square meters is a worthwhile excursion destination, as is the Kragerup Manor, where there is, among other things, a tree top walk and a moat with canoe rental. Trelleborg, near Slagelse, is free to visit, except in week 29, when the Viking Festival is held. Further recommendable are Skælskør, a nice little harbor village and the windmill of Høng, this is south of Slagelse. North of Slagelse is Reersø a worthwhile destination, in the harbor you can buy very good fish. Can comfortably fit up to 7 people
