An authentic and comfortable villa with Mauritian charm, a living place with a true soul. Far from impersonal luxury, it welcomes 9 guests . A perfect place to reconnect as a family: lying side by side, talking with wet hair and salt on your skin, rediscovering your inner child, playing on the beach, laughing, sharing a beer, simply being together. That’s all that matters. The space As the owner of the villa, I grew up in Trou d’Eau Douce. Between weekends and holidays spent on this beach, this place has become a part of me. BlueMoon Villa is not just accommodation: it’s a family home, a living and sincere space where you come to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with the people you love. The villa offers 3 double bedrooms (including one family room that can host an extra child in a single bed and a baby – we provide a wooden crib and a folding baby cot) as well as one twin bedroom. All bedrooms are separate to preserve privacy. From the master bedroom and the large wooden deck, the view is magical: the villa feels as if it floats above the lagoon. Turquoise sea, soft white sand, and swimming are literally at your doorstep. Mauritian at heart, Bertrand and I share this place with simplicity and warmth. We remain available throughout your stay, whether you need a local tip or a helping hand. Thoughtful service is included: our housekeeper is present 3 to 4 hours a day for daily upkeep. On request, and with a small supplement, she can also prepare delicious Mauritian meals. And to make you feel at home right away, we’ll send you our 60-page Welcome Book before your arrival, filled with recommendations, local tips, hidden gems, and excursion ideas. Guest access The beach, the beach, the beach :-) the sea, the sea, the sea :-) Other things to note We are lucky to be surrounded by wonderful people who are fully dedicated to our guests’ well-being. Artee, our housekeeper, is present every day (except Sundays and public holidays) to care for the villa with attention and discretion. Ashock, our gardener and handyman, looks after the general maintenance of the property and is available should any small technical issues arise. And to start your mornings gently, he can also deliver fresh bread to you each day upon request. we can also organise boat trips and activities with a mini bus around the island.
