Château de Saint-Léons, historic 15th century residence

In its green setting, the Chateau overlooks the small village of Saint-Léons, the birthplace of Jean-Henri Fabre, famous naturalist, and the City of Insectes Micropolis. Removed in 2012 for its respectful restoration by the Food Award granted by the "Vieilles Maisons de France", the Chateau does not waive the current comfort, including fiber, contemporary kitchen, spacious rooms, queen size bedding, central heating, home cinema and swimming pool. The space When you arrive, I will guide you on a tour of the Castle and the Park. I am at your disposal and immediately contactable throughout your stay. Introduction If the Castle has found its medieval elements such as crochicoulis, merlons, lauze roofs, interior restoration harmoniously marries tradition and contemporary. Ground floor tiles, whitewashed, stone walls, natural pigments, an equipped and functional kitchen, bathrooms with walk-in showers, internet fiber... The building is 20 meters long and 8 meters wide, revolves around 4 levels : - The ground floor with the Kitchen Dining Room overlooking two terraces and the living room. In the 2 corner towers, a wine cellar and an office/TV area were set up. The central tower serves the upper floors. - The 1st floor. Bedroom 1 and Bedroom 2, each with their own dressing room and bathroom - The 2nd floor. Bedroom 3 and Bedroom 4, each with its own private bathroom. Bedroom 5 called "Des enfants" with its toilet - The 3rd floor. Bedroom 6, with its kitchenette, bathroom and toilet. The large library offers a reading nook, a desk and a home cinema. The rooms have been personalized with different styles. Additional housekeeping, catering or babysitting services can be arranged for a charge. The 2.5-hectare Park is planted with remarkable trees: cedar trees, pine trees, lime trees, charms.....It is dotted with separate areas, such as the orchard, vegetable garden, large wooded walkways, apiary, rose garden... The Park is equipped with a professional lighting and sound system (Bose speaker). Your musical choices will accompany your walks and moments of relaxation. Coupled with the light of the Chateau and the Park, you will fully enjoy the charm of the place. For your stay, we have created suggestions for activities, restaurants and discovery days that you can find in our "guide". Other things to note The park is completely private, so you will have its exclusive use. The light of the Park and the Chateau as well as the outdoor sound system are at your disposal. For young children, we prefer to warn our guests that the interior design, steps, stairs, windows and the various levels of the park may be unsuitable. However, we leave our hosts the choice and responsibility for the safety of the youngest. The guards of the estate, Mathieu and Angeline reside in the former Chapel of the Chateau, just outside.
