Santa Elena is a district of Medellín located 35 minutes from downtown Medellín. It’s known as the birthplace of the silleteros, who adorn the Flower Festival in Medellín and in many parts of the world. Here, you can visit the silletero farms to learn about silletero culture. There are many dining options and beautiful landscapes. It’s a peaceful place with a great atmosphere and very safe. You can go for a walk and enjoy the wonders of nature. Nearby, there are places to enjoy your stay, such as La Promesa and Dimonte. There are also shops, bakeries, and supermarkets within walking distance.
