The best of both worlds, a location which is in the Lake District and also part of the Yorkshire Dales National Park and very handy for both. Orton is surrounded by beautiful countryside including the Howgill Fells and Great Asby Scar National Nature reserve and near several cycle routes. Orton has an excellent shop and post office, a good pub, an award-winning café, Farmers Market and even a chocolate factory!
