Three Moors View was built around 20 years ago in the Parish of Iddesleigh in West Devon - the setting for Michael Morpurgo’s World War I novel “War House”. Providing the perfect escape to the countryside, the house has a beautiful vantage point of neighbouring fields and fantastic views across Dartmoor, Bodmin, and Exmoor. The house has a well-equipped farmhouse kitchen with a table and four chairs, electric Rangemaster cooker, an electric oven, electric hob, under-counter fridge, dishwasher, microwave, toaster and kettle. The utility next door houses the upright fridge/ freezer, the washing machine, tumble dryer, sink, vacuum cleaner, iron/ ironing board and floor mop. The dining room has a large table which can seat up to ten guests, perfect for a celebratory meal with the family. This leads through to the entrance hall and then into the cosy living room which has three sofas that can each seat up to three guests, a woodburner (an initial supply of logs are provided) and a smart TV with freeview, Netflix and a DVD player. The sliding doors lead into a small conservatory area which has a set of patio doors opening out into the garden. The large enclosed garden has a patio area, wrap-around lawn, outdoor table and chairs with a parasol and a charcoal barbeque. A great spot for enjoying a beautiful sunny day in the Summer with far-reaching clear views of the countryside. Guests will also have access to part of the garage where bicycles, kayaks and surfboards can be stored. Upstairs, there are five bedrooms in total, one king-size, one standard double, one single and two super king/twin rooms with zip and link beds (one with an ensuite shower room). There is also a family bathroom on the first floor with a shower over the bath and two downstairs toilets.
