Sunny private location in Gibbston Valley. Arrowtown and Queenstown, both a short drive away and offering unlimited tourist attractions. Wanaka is 50 minutes over the scenic Crown Range. Or pop down the road to any of the vineyards or the tavern for delicious dining. The bike trail starts at the end of the driveway and bikes can be hired at Gibbston winery... or walk the trail along the Kawarau River. Read a book in the sunroom or under the fruit trees, cool off in the swimming pond, or kick back on the front deck with a BBQ. When fire permits allow, enjoy a fab evening around the fireplace in the ruins and if it's the right time of year enjoy strawberries and raspberries from the garden. If the NZ govt makes a COVID rule change that directly impacts the 14 day cancellation criteria mentioned below, the owner is happy to discuss another time period or refund (minus any fee portion required by Bookabatch and/or partners). Please also note all guests on the property are required to be fully vaccinated for COVID.
