Your main door, self contained main door apartment by the sea! We have won guest awards year after year on other platforms for your holiday apartment. This is a main door apartment on ground level with free car parking and an excellent bus service. With a beautiful sea view, we provide stylish self-catering accommodation on the Scottish coast, located in the historic Newhaven, Leith area. This converted shop is around 2 miles from the city centre and offers free parking and free WiFi. The space Our property includes 1 bedroom with double bed, and 1 single fold out z bed. There is a bathroom with a bath and shower. A fitted kitchen includes an oven, microwave, fridge and kettle and on arrival you will find a welcome pack including tea, coffee and cereal. A continental breakfast can be provided upon request/agreement. The living room has a sofa and a dining table, and a flat-screen TV with DVD player. Couples particularly like the location — they rated it 8.4 for a two person trip across booking platforms. Guest access The Royal Botanic Gardens are just a 7-minute drive away, as are the docks at Leith. Royal Yacht Britannia is just a 6-minute drive. There are numerous golf courses around the region, many within 10-20 minutes’ drive. We have recently designed the property in a Scandinavian style. Making your home by the sea, cosy and home away from home. Buses leave every 12 minutes outside the property into town and leith. Both are also beautiful walks. We have a 24 hour supermarket nearby as well as bars and restaurants, serving Scotland's finest produce. Other things to note Our property is located in Newhaven in the EH5 postcode which was voted as the most sought after area in Edinburgh recently. You can get the number 200 bus directly from the airport to the apartment. This runs early in the morning until late in the evening. Newhaven used to be a fishing village and the apartment is a converted shop which used to service the local area. In turn, it is a very quirky property which we really love! We can help you with any aspect of local information. When we travel we really like to travel to switch off and enjoy! We love staying in a home away from home within a community, getting a feel of how the city really is and become immersed in surroundings and culture. A sterile environment that could be anywhere just isn't us. We created somewhere we would love to stay and hope you will too ! We really care and try to make the apartment as comfortable as possible, adding extras where we see fit. The neighbourhood is very friendly and has boat trips, quick journey into town or Leith. It is full of lovely cafes and bars, Wardie beach is only a couple of minutes walk and there is an old railway track with lots of interesting sights along the foot path and access to many areas for Edinburgh. Getting anywhere in Edinburgh is so easy by foot (if you're able) or by bus. We would advise ditching the car to get the best out of your trip! Although, there is ample free car parking onsite at the apartment- perfect if you're using Edinburgh as your base and/or for work.
