Restored 18th century Chateau, a fine country retreat
The house sits atop a hill overlooking the little village of Boissy-les-Perche and surrounded with farmland on 12 acres. It was built at the end of the 18th century as a hunting lodge for the Marquis de Chambrais and has been enlarged and improved on since. The main floor has a formal sitting room, office and large dining room as well as a family sitting room with television next to the informal eating area of the fully equiped kitchen. For the summer months there is an outside table and chairs. Upstairs are the seven bedrooms, with either wool carpets or wood floors, two have king sized beds, two have large antique beds and three have single beds(twin). All have large french windows. Two bathrooms have bathtubs and one has a spacious shower. One of the king-sized rooms we call the library on account of the antique bookshelf, and it has its own bathroom and television. Let us know your particular needs and we can assist with cribs, high chairs etc.
