"There is a small hotel in Florence. It is called Dante and has always been the "Florentine home" of many theater actors who perform in the city during the year. Secluded almost hidden, an ancient alley is found in via San Cristofano (a stone's throw from Santa Croce), a survivor of a Florence that no longer exists, or that only resists in Alinari prints and in the memories of those with white hair.
