Can Gat Vell consists of two 18th-century farmhouses, restored with great charm, in the beautiful and small medieval village of Llampaies, with 80 inhabitants, at 17 km from the beaches of the Costa Brava, between Girona (23 km) and Figueres (21 km). There are 3 rural houses and 3 rustic apartments with history, each with a different style. The property has 14 bedrooms/12 bathrooms, for up to 35 people. The spaces are for the exclusive use of the group. The space Can Gat Vell consists of two Catalan farmhouses from the 18th century, located in front of each other, with a lawn garden and two olive trees in the middle. Enjoy the outdoor space, stroll through the houses as if traveling back in time, get lost in the hallways, admire the landscapes while dreaming of complete freedom, and fully enjoy the atmosphere with family and friends. Both farmhouses offer 14 bedrooms, 12 bathrooms, a large living room for everyone to enjoy together, etc., in a total area of 780 m². In the Large Masia, we have an apartment on the ground floor (Cal Secretari) and two other apartments on the first floor (El Mirador and El Rebost), along with two independent rooms (the double room El Porticó and the triple room La Finestreta). All apartments are equipped with a kitchen, living room, and dining room. The area covers 500 m². The reception, game room, services, and laundry are also located on the ground floor of the Large Masia. Apartment Cal Secretari: Ideal for 5 people. It has 2 bedrooms: One with a double bed and its own bathroom with a bathtub and shower. The second bedroom has three single beds and its own bathroom with a bathtub (with exterior access or through the main bedroom). This apartment has 130 m² and a 50 m² living-dining room, allowing for very comfortable group gatherings and meals. The kitchen is large and fully equipped. Apartment El Rebost: It has 69 m². It has 2 bedrooms: One bedroom with a double bed and a single bed, with an en-suite bathroom. Another bedroom with a double bed, also with an en-suite bathroom. Terrace and kitchen. Apartment El Mirador: It has 82 m². Ideal for 5 people. It has 2 bedrooms: One with a double bed and a single bed. A mezzanine with two single beds and a bathroom (which leads to one of the bedrooms). It also has a kitchen. Room La Finestreta: Ideal for 3 people. It has a bedroom with a double bed and a single bed, a shower/WC (narrow access) in the room. Room El Porticó: Ideal for 2 people. It has a bedroom with a double bed and a shower/WC. IMPORTANT: PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE LARGE MASIA. In the Small Masia, we have three adjoining small houses, at garden level, with an area of 280 m²: House El Graner: 49 m², a house for 4 people with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. One bedroom with a double bed and the other with two single beds. One bathroom with a bathtub. It has a kitchen. House La Pallissa: 133 m², a house for 9-10 people with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. One bedroom with a double bed. Another with four single beds. The last one with a double bed and a two-person sofa bed (for children only). All three bathrooms have bathtubs. It has a kitchen. House La Solana: 37 m², ideal for 2 people. It has one bedroom with a double bed and 1 bathroom with a bathtub. It includes a kitchen. Other things to note 1-Upon arrival, the tourist tax will be charged. This tax is mandatory for all guests staying overnight at our properties. This tax applies to those over 17 years of age. It is charged per person per night, with a maximum of 7 nights. It will be necessary to leave a caution, that will be returned as long as the property is in the same condition as when you arrived: possible damages, cleaning of the barbecue/fireplace, clean dishes and put away in their place, rubbish in the municipal recycling bins, floors swept/mopped if necessary, etc.). We will check that everything is in order in order to be able to refund it by bank transfer or Bizum the day after departure or in cash upon departure (depending on the availability of the inspection). You can choose whether you prefer to carry out these tasks or entrust them to us. If any task has not been completed, the corresponding amount will be deducted from the deposit.
