The Convent of Bernardas is a 16th century Manueline monastery, reconstructed according to a project by architect Souto Moura, who won the Priztker Prize in 2011, preserving the original building. It is located 5 minutes from the center of Tavira, with its picturesque streets, restaurants and shops. The accommodation is set in a gated community with a saltwater pool and private parking. The apartment is fully equipped for a well deserved rest between the salt flats and Ria Formosa.
