Our Currawang apartment is a stylish modern 1-bedroom apartment with all the facilities you could need for a business or holiday stay, including a car park, fast internet and a fully equipped kitchen. There is a tram station outside the apartment which takes you to the centre of Canberra city in minutes. The city and ANU is close by. Great eateries and breweries are in walking distance. Relax with our 58" 4K TV with Netflix, YouTube Premium and stay comfy with our reverse cycle air conditioner. The space Our modern Currawang apartment (named after our local Ngunnawal word for the spearwood tree, a tree local to Canberra) is located on the upper levels of the apartment complex. The apartment is accessible through lifts. We provide an air purifier in the living area. KITCHEN: This is a fully equipped equipment with: - fridge/freezer - stovetop - oven - microwave - kettle - toaster - dishwasher - crockery and cutlery - coffee pod machine - cooking basics (e.g. oil, salt and pepper) We also provide tea, coffee pods and sugar. Our welcome pack includes a light breakfast to get you started (you will need to stock food items for longer stays). BEDROOM: This has a king size bed with linens and a large walk in wardrobe. The bedroom comes with side lamps, USB chargers & spare outlets for each bedside, and a Goog1e Assistant smart clock: "Hey Goog1e, wake me up at 7am" or "Hey Goog1e, play ocean sounds". LIVING ROOM: This comes with a large screen Android TV with Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+, YouTube Premium and Chromecast. You can stream content via Chromecast. You can get advice from the Goog1e Assistant in the living room - "Hey Goog1e, what's the weather today?". The leather couch has charging ports on the side. The couch is also an electric recliner, with independently adjustable headrests. BATHROOM: The bathroom comes with a toilet, sink and shower. We provide towels for each registered guest, toilet paper, bodywash and shampoo. LAUNDRY: A washing machine (with provided laundry powder/liquid), dryer, iron and ironing board is provided. For the greener option, we provide a clothes horse that you can hang your clothes to dry. SMART HOME: This apartment is a smart home, with various sensors throughout the area, including motion sensors, door sensors, and temperature sensors. These are for the security of the apartment and to help us ensure we provide you with a great experience. Please do not tamper with the sensors. There are no cameras in the apartment, but there are in the common areas of the complex. HIRE CAR AVAILABLE: We can have a Tesla Model Y Long Range available at the apartment for you (subject to hire fees & availability). FREE PARKING: The cost includes a single undercover secure parking space for the duration of your stay. The parking garage has a maximum height of 2.15m. NO SMOKING: This property is for non-smokers only. This means no smoking anywhere, on the balcony, or entering the property while smelling of smoke. Guest access You have access to the entire apartment. Other things to note Please note that while the property has a gym and pool onsite, this belongs to the hotel next door and is not available to our guests.
